Jerk Ribs

Ingredients
  

  • Baby Back or Spare Ribs
  • 1/2 cup Distilled White Vinegar
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
  • 2 tbsps Vegetable or Canola Oil
  • 1 tsp Ground Allspice
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp Kosher Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 bunch Green Onions (white parts removed)
  • 6 Jalapenos - seeds and stems removed for less spicy

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 250 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Wash ribs and pat dry. Score 1in slits between each bone. Place in a greased 9x13 pan bone side up.
  • In a food processor or blender, blend all ingredients together until smooth.
  • Pour over ribs making sure to coat the entire rack. Cover tightly with multiple sheets of foil to ensure it is thoroughly sealed.
  • Bake for 6 hours. Make sure to keep the oven closed and the ribs sealed for the entire 6 hours!
  • Remove from oven and enjoy!
